For the ROMBUS (Robotic Operations for Manipulation & Benchmarking Under SLM) project, I am developing a benchmarking tool for Small Language Models (SLMs) applied to robotic arm manipulation tasks. Our focus is on edge computing and hybrid-edge scenarios, providing industry and research users with tools to evaluate and improve the performance of SLMs in real-world applications like manufacturing and assembly. The project involves creating software and hardware solutions that enhance robot manipulation capabilities, integrating advanced AI models with robotics to streamline complex tasks.
